"When an old and distinguished person speaks to you, listen to him carefully and with respect – but do not believe him. Never put your trust in anything but your own intellect. Your elder, no matter whether he has gray hair or lost his hair, no matter whether he is a Nobel Laureate, may be wrong... So you must always be skeptical – always think for yourself." --Linus Pauling

More Moore.

There's a fantastic new interview with Alan Moore at Salon.com. You may be required to watch an ad before reading it. Do it. Moore is a visionary genius (meant in the old fashioned sense --before the term was devalued), and anything he has to say about the world is worth reading.

I suffered through the entire thing. I agree that it's "fantastic", in that it appears to be filled with mr. Moore's fantasies.

Better Late then not at all: In reference to 09/17/2003. Go figure, right? As for your title, Your comments had no bearing on Marriage. A fitting title: "Jacks personal needs not being met at his best friends wedding". Now, for your comments, Witty yes, as expected... Ignorant also. You did not take into consideration why we did not have alcohol, nor did you ask. You know that We do drink, so that does not merit the sarcasim of our faith in Christ. Now for an Explanation: No alcohol was present because we have seen all of our friends loaded already, and felt that a promise (as important as this one) should be made with a clear mind and celebrated with a clear mind. As for the pleasure of our guests, not our concern. Why are weddings for the guest? The only reason we even invited them was for there support and a way to outwardly express our commitment to each other. This day was about us. We didn't want it to turn into a "bachanal". This was the most important day in our lives.
